What is Harbor Network Sunday?

On Harbor Network Sunday, churches across the U.S. are equipped and empowered to share the story of how gospel partnerships bring renewal, strengthen pastors, support church planting, and advance the mission of renewal-driven ministry.

During a Harbor Network Sunday, a host will generally:

  • Share a brief announcement or personal testimony about the impact of Harbor Network partnerships.

  • Show a short video that highlights the transformative work of supporting churches and pastors.

  • Invite the congregation to join in through prayer, partnership, and support for Harbor Network’s mission.

Every person and every community need a church. But even in the United States, many people have never heard of God’s love for them and have nobody to tell them. Launching new churches is one of the best ways to make sure people can meet, know and follow Jesus. Did you know that with 200 million people who do not attend church and have no knowledge of the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ, the United States is one of the world’s four largest unchurched nations? When Jesus said to go into all the world and share the gospel, that included going across the street, into nearby communities or even around the world. 

One of the best ways to reach others with the gospel is to launch new churches.
