Residency Readiness Retreat

Ready to launch a residency at your church?

Design It. Build It. Launch It.

You've been thinking about starting a residency at your church. Maybe you've seen other churches invest in emerging leaders and wondered what it would take to do the same. Maybe you already sense that God is calling you toward a multiplication culture—but you're not sure where to begin.

The Residency Readiness Retreat is a two-day intensive designed to take you from interest to action. You'll work alongside experienced residency hosts and the Harbor team to design a residency framework that fits your church, your context, and your capacity.

This isn't a lecture series. It's a hands-on workshop where you'll leave with:

✅ A clear residency framework tailored to your church context

✅ Proven templates, timelines, and tools you can implement immediately

✅ Practical coaching on funding, structure, and resident selection

✅ Peer connections with pastors building residencies across the network

✅ Ongoing follow-up support from the Harbor team

Whether you're starting from scratch or refining an existing vision, this retreat will give you the clarity and confidence to move forward.

What to Expect

Over two days, you'll move through a guided process designed to help you think clearly and plan practically:

Day One focuses on vision and design—understanding what makes a residency work, exploring different models, and beginning to shape a framework for your church.

Day Two shifts to implementation—building out your timeline, working through logistics, and developing a plan you can take home and act on.

Throughout the retreat, you'll have space for honest conversation, peer collaboration, and one-on-one time with experienced residency hosts who've been where you are.
