A major pain point in pastoral ministry is the pressure to preach faithfully week after week—wondering if your sermons truly point people to Christ or if you're missing something essential.

Gospel-centered preaching isn't a trend—it's the heartbeat of faithful pastoral ministry. But what does it actually mean to preach in a way that consistently points people to Christ?

You feel it every Sunday—the weight of opening God's Word, the fear that you might mishandle the text or miss the gospel, the pressure to be relevant without compromising faithfulness. The responsibility of preaching can be both exhilarating and exhausting.

Join Jared C. Wilson for a pastoral conversation about pursuing gospel-centered preaching that truly equips God's people.

Jared C. Wilson is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministry at Midwestern Seminary and Pastor for Preaching at Liberty Baptist Church. With 30 years of learning to preach with passionate gospel-centrism, Jared understands the challenges of preparing sermons that are both biblically faithful and deeply Christ-centered. As author of over 20 books including Gospel-Driven Ministry and host of the For the Church podcast, Jared is known for his thoughtful, pastoral, and prophetic voice.

Jared will help you see that gospel-centered preaching isn't just a buzzword—it's the substance that transforms lives and equips believers to live for God's glory.

In this Digital Learning Intensive, you'll explore:

  • What gospel-centered preaching truly means (beyond the buzzword)

  • How to preach Christ from every text without forcing Him into passages artificially

  • Developing clarity, consistency, and creativity in your sermon preparation

  • Navigating the tension between biblical faithfulness and cultural relevance

  • Finding confidence in the substance of your sermons and freedom from anxious people-pleasing

Whether you're a new preacher finding your voice or a seasoned pastor wanting to stay sharp, this session will encourage you to treasure Christ more greatly and help your congregation savor His power more sweetly through your preaching.
